Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. Not only was the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight as it also secured her a deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. The singer has since released several studio albums. Three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. She is among the most well-known artists that have emerged from American Idol. She tried her hand at popularity with diverse musical and theme style, and often wrote the songs herself. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded critical acclaim as well as a variety of prizes. Notably, she's won the Grammy Award a record three times. Music isn't the only thing she is involved in. She also appears in movies and television programs. In addition, she is the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
