Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical drama. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. But very soon she was involved in the city's club scene, making enough splashes to get noticed by the press, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She used both her training in music and fame to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. Then she was recruited by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. After Awake on The Wild Side was no longer being aired, she began acting in films as well as on TV, starting with short role. Gradually, her career as an actress grew.
